To Install Patch Files
To connect to the above GV-Compact DVR V3 models on GV-System V8.4.0.0, patch files are required.
Follow the steps below to install patch files.
1. Locate the Compact DVR V3 Patch Files in the GV-Compact DVR V3 software CD or download
them from the download links listed below.
2. Refer to the IPCamInstall table listed below. Copy all three ini files and one sub-folder from the
For Windows folder and paste them to C:WINDOWS.
3. Refer to the GV-Systems table listed below. Copy all files from the For GVxxx Folder according
to your operating system language and paste them to the GV-System’s folder :GV folder.
4. If a message pops up to inform you a file with the same name already exists in the folder, click
Yes to replace the existing file. The upgrade is completed.
