Groundhog Day is a 1993 American fantasy comedy film directed by Harold Ramis. It stars Bill Murray as Phil Connors, a TV weatherman who repeatedly relives the same day in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania. Each day, Phil awakens and finds himself reliving February 2nd over and over again. At first, Phil is frustrated and uses the time loop to pursue various hedonistic acts.
