3. In the purge: anarchy the director James DeMonara represents working class
people as agree, frustrated and opportunistic, this is shown through the large
amount of people who took part in the purge. Most working class characters
were represented as opportunistic because they were killing random people on
the street.
Where as many other characters were represented as and angry and frustrated
as they only attack the rich and those who were in charge or who had
governmental links. This represents the working class as wanting liberation
from the rule of the government. The director also represents the upper-class
people as selfish and casual. This is shown as the audience find out that the rich
pay the working class to give up their lives so the rich families can kill them. The
audience also see how the rich had turn the killing of innocent people into a
game connoting feelings of hatred and evil to the audience.
4. In the film the dark knight directed by Christopher Nolan
conveys representations of upper and working class people. The
director represents upper class people as heroic this is shown
through the character Bruce Wayne who is and incredibly
affluent business owner who becomes Batman and protects the
city of Gotham from villains trying to destroy it.
The director represents the working class as weak and
defenceless this is shown whenever a villain attacks the city, the
people cannot defend themselves and rely on Batman (Bruce
Wayne) to protect them.
