This document defines and provides examples of three common types of graphs: bar graphs, circle graphs, and line graphs. Bar graphs compare quantitative or qualitative data using bars of different heights. Circle graphs show the relationship between parts of a whole using slices of a circle. Line graphs show how two quantities change over time by connecting plotted points with lines.
