This document presents information on a new building material called Grancrete that provides an eco-friendly and low-cost alternative to concrete construction. Grancrete is composed of locally available materials like sand, ash, and a binding mixture. It can be sprayed or poured and hardens within a few hours to form a strong, fire-resistant, and waterproof ceramic shell for building. Grancrete houses can be constructed quickly, are more durable and energy efficient than traditional buildings, and produce significantly lower greenhouse gas emissions. The material has benefits like compressive strength and freeze-thaw resistance comparable to concrete but with less environmental impact and cost.

the foam and the frames are to be installed.

also around the windows & door frames to
ensure a weather proof seal.

17. 6. A few hours later the ceramic has
hardened and is ready to be occupied.

18. • For a ton of conventional concrete , 1 ton of
green house gases are obtained but with
grancrete only 1/10 th of green houses evolve.
• Two people can build a house in two days.
• Prevents leaching of hazardous contaminants.
• No reinforcement is required.

19.  Skin Contact: Rinse affected area with soap
and water.
 Eye Contact: Immediately flush the eyes with
water for 15 minutes including underneath
the eyelids. Consult a physician as soon as
possible for follow-up treatment.
