Cameron McKinley and Mandy Fox welcome participants to create a Google Earth tour of national parks by using examples of existing tours, communicating with travel companions over Skype, and creating Voice Thread slideshows to embed in Placemarks. Instructions are provided on setting up accounts with Google Earth and Voice Thread, adding photos and comments to create interactive slides, and placing markers with embedded Voice Threads to build a tour that instructors will then compile into a cohesive experience for users.
