- #9 While Custom Search can be used to index sites, this presentation is about how it can be used to index and search specific topics and specialties. Typically, libraries have used pathfinders or resource guides to create lists of evaluated resources. The challenge is that the customer needs to visit each of the sites as they look for the information they need.
