What are the 4C’s
Communication, Collaboration, Creativity and Critical
Thinking are termed as the 4Cs.
They are the cornerstones of several national and
international technology in education standard
documents and are at the center of the World Class
Education.
With the help of these cornerstones this presentation
would to demonstrate the features of GAFE.
Collaboration
Students who are able to work with diverse teams,
negotiate and communicate effectively with others.
They work together to achieve a goal, i.e. solve
problems, create innovative solutions/products, learn
and master content.
The demands of the 21st Century workforce
increasingly calls for cooperative efforts. (link)
Communication
Effective use of information and communication
technologies to develop spoken, listening, written,
visual skills is a very critical aspect.
Students should learn to communicate using a range
of media, technology, and virtual environments. (link)
Creativity & Innovation
Students can demonstrate curiosity and experiment
creatively to achieve innovative solutions.
We can integrate and synthesize knowledge and skills
across disciplines while effectively using real-world
digital tools to communicate, collaborate, solve
problems and accomplish tasks.

Critical Thinking & Problem Solving
The use of higher order thinking, such as creative and
critical thinking, refers to a set of cognitive skills or
strategies that increases the probability of a desired
outcome.
In an information-rich society, the need for critical
thinking is one of the most important skills needed in
work and society

From the 4C’s to the 3C’s
If School leaders can demonstrate compassion,
craftsmanship, and courage by implementing Google
Apps for Education, they can help students and
teachers develop the 4 C’s.
Leaders
must have
for teachers
and students
to teach and
develop
