The document summarizes the formation and progress of the ICAN (NNPC Chapter) from 2018 to 2020. It notes that the chapter was conceived by the former CFO, Isiaka Abdulrazaq, and that under the interim chairman Kayode Adebiyi the chapter raised NNPC's profile with ICAN. Notably, the CFO received an ICAN Merit Award in 2018 for clearing NNPC's backlog of audited accounts. In 2020, NNPC received another ICAN Merit Award, being the only organization in Nigeria to receive the award twice in two years. The document congratulates the chapter on its inauguration and expresses confidence in its continued success under new leadership.

Russian anarchist and anti-war movement in the third year of full-scale warAntti Rautiainen
Anarchist group ANA Regensburg hosted my online-presentation on 16th of May 2024, in which I discussed tactics of anti-war activism in Russia, and reasons why the anti-war movement has not been able to make an impact to change the course of events yet. Cases of anarchists repressed for anti-war activities are presented, as well as strategies of support for political prisoners, and modest successes in supporting their struggles.

1. Goodwill message from the Interim Chairman ICAN (NNPC Chapter) Jan
2018-March 2020 - Mr. Kayode Adebiyi, MBA, FCA
I take great pleasure in congratulating the leadership of NNPC, the
leadership of ICAN, especially the Abuja District Society of ICAN,
distinguished members of the newly inaugurated ICAN (NNPC Chapter) and
prospective members of the new Chapter on this auspicious Chapter
inauguration.
As Frank Olize, starNTA newscastersaid: “the best way to begin is to begin
from the beginning” The initiative of the Chapter was conceived by the
immediate past CFO, Isiaka Abdulrazaq, who directed that the process of
formation of the new Chapter should begin and that I should lead the
process.
Within the period, the Interim Committee made tremendous progress in
raising the profile of NNPC and her Finance leadership with ICAN. Of note,
the team successfully got the CFO honoured with ICAN Merit Award in 2018
for the unique achievement of clearing the backlog of audited accounts
from 2012 to 2017 and bringing NNPC financial returns up to date.
Year 2020 was another starry year for NNPC, despite the pandemic, as the
recipient of ICAN Merit Award in the Corporate category. It is on record
that no other organization in Nigeria has bagged ICAN Merit Award both in
the member’s category and the corporate category in a spateof twoyears.
As the mantle of leadership fell on the “action woman” Alhaja Wosilat
Adebayo, the race to the final began and that is why we are here today.
The Interim Management team deserves a standing applause for making
today a reality. Today’s inauguration reaffirms our commitment to
innovate, to lead and to improve the world around us.
I keenly look forward to witnessing the continuous achievements of the
Chapter along its mission of professional commitment and its vision to
become a pacesetter. I am confident that with the strong leadership and
devoted pioneer executive members, the Chapter will achieve new heights
in all spheres in the years to come.
Once again, wishing the ICAN (NNPC Chapter) and indeed NNPC another
surge of bright and prosperous development, Congratulations.
