If you think about how little difference an act of kindness makes in the grade scale, you get frustrated and defeated and stop.  If you take great care in doing something….anything, you will feel the joy of giving and make our world a little brighter.

100 Year Perspective Stress:  …can I have just one day? The dog bit me I haven’t seen the floor of my son’s room in years Daughter #1 forgot to tell us the due date for her tuition and all her classes were dropped. Daughter #2 has a cell phone issue Daughter #3 was discovered to have created a My Space….. Pump in basement overflowed Etc…
If someone throws you a ball….you don’t have to catch it
Service People who understand that their purpose is service to others live lives of abundance.  Those who do not, just live their lives.
Good is the  Enemy of Great!
Good  = Customer    Satisfaction Great  = Client Success Are you satisfied with a product or are you successful?
What does it take? GOOD LEADERSHIP – could be part of it, but you could have great leadership and still not be successful
MOTIVATION – has a lot to do with it, but you could be motivated and not have the skills needed
ATTITUDE – has a lot to do with it, but with attitude you need the right plan
APTITUDE – you could be the smartest person in the world and not be successful, because you don’t work hard
Potential Studies say that human beings only reach 30% of their potential, there are many reasons for this… being afraid being lazy no self confidence no vision giving up excuse etc.
Quit Complaining Do you have a vision? (Jigsaw Puzzle) Do you have a goal? Figure it out! If you really want something, you’ll find a way…..

Paradox and Ambiguity! We do not seek consensus – recognizing that consensus decisions are often at odds with intelligent decisions We are responsible for the final decisions; we seek input and debate, but then we make the decision and look in the mirror
Change Management People hate change; the only thing worse than changing is what happens if we fail to change Feelings never change behavior; changing behavior will change feelings Leaders have the courage to change
A Culture of Discipline Bureaucracy is to compensate for incompetence and lack of discipline  All freedom must come with an equal amount of responsibility Your “Stop Doing” list may be more important than your  To-Do List!
Technology Accelerators Technology is an accelerator of momentum, not a creator of it Human assets based organizations must fully leverage technology if they are to pursue “Great” – breakthrough opportunities exist in the Internet Age High Tech / High Touch
