7. PLUS PROGRAM
Plus is a full-time academic preparation program combining language instruction and
educational support with enrollment in University graduate course work leading to a
degree or certificate.
PLUS allows students to improve their academic proficiency while emphasizing subject-
specific classroom skills to keep them on track toward earning a degree. In their Plus
classes, students learn how to give in-class presentations, work in groups, participate in
discussions, research and write university quality papers, analyze case studies and more.

Also Plus Program can be awarded to applicants if their degree GPA falls short of 3.0 .

Scholarship criteria:
(Applicable to all GGU GRADUATES - new & continuing students)
* U.S. Citizens or eligible non‐citizens students are required to complete the 2015‐2016 FAFSA online at: www.fafsa.ed.gov
* Scholarships do not have to be repaid
* Students may only receive one GGU scholarship, grant, or discount per trimester
* Scholarships range from $750 to $2,000 per trimester
* Students must be enrolled in a Graduate degree program
* Scholarships are for the duration of a student’s program, with continuous half‐time enrollment

▲ ALUMNI ASSOCIATION SCHOLARSHIP The GGU Alumni Association is comprised of graduates from all GGU schools and is
headed by a volunteer board of directors who serve as a model for all GGU alumni. Its president is also a member of the governing
body of University Trustees. The GGU Alumni Association promotes leadership, philanthropy, and volunteerism and hosts many
networking events and volunteer activities throughout the year.

▲ HUGUENOT SCHOLARSHIP The Huguenots were exiled from their native France for standing up for their religious beliefs
before migrating to America during the 16th, 17th, and 18th centuries to escape persecution and discrimination. Please visit their

mission of the Huguenot Society today.

▲ NAGEL MINER SCHOLARSHIP (International Students Only) – This scholarship is widely supported by graduates of GGU that
were international students. These international alumni are particularly interested in the successful integration and interaction of
international students within the GGU Community.

* Describe how you are taking steps to participate fully with the GGU community, including students, faculty, staff, alumni and
friends of the university.

▲TRITASAVIT ACCOUNTING SCHOLARSHIP (International Students Only) – This scholarship is for international students
majoring in Accounting. The criteria will be based on an essay as to why you want to major in accounting at GGU and what your
future plans are as a career. Recommendations from your International Academic Advisor will be helpful.
▲ ENDERLEIN INTERANTIONAL STUDENT SCHOLARSHIP (International Students Only) – The criteria will be based on an essay

11. GMAT WAIVER POLICY
Some applicants to the MBA program are not required to provide a GMAT score. The
exceptions to the GMAT requirement are:
Applicants who have an earned master's or higher degree from a regionally accredited US
institution;
Applicants who have a cumulative 3.50 grade-point average or higher in studies leading to a US
bachelor's degree from an accredited or approved institution;
Applicants who have a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license;
Applicants who have other professional licenses or designations earned by passing a nationally
recognized US examinations (e.g. CMA, CIA) and who petition and are granted approval from
the dean of the Edward S. Ageno School of Business;
Applicants who have more than five (5) years of substantial professional and/or supervisory
managerial work experience, and who petition and are granted approval from the Dean of the
Edward S. Ageno School of Business. (Examples of professional experience are: practicing CFAs,
attorneys, physicians or other qualified professional careers; supervisory managerial work
experience refers to experience directing others in the accomplishment of tasks.);
Applicants to the Executive Master of Business Administration (Executive MBA) degree program
