Using her lucky vision, Ladybug spots an HVAC and takes it apart. She sends a pipe with air
spewing out of it to Cat Noir, who uses it to deflect the bubbles. Bubbler raises his bubble wand,
about to take another swing, when Ladybug catches it with her yo yo and wrenches it out of his
grasp. Breaking it in two, she captures the akuma and cleanses the city, returning the parents,
children, and Nino back to normal.

in the well known Netflix series: Orange Is the New Black, specifically in terms of how women
are represented within the series and generally females in media. I then will focus on the Latina

arrested for a crime he did not commit and was executed by the state of Utah. Similarly, Casey is
caught conspiring and was beaten to death by Pinkerton guards who acted as the police force at
the time. Hill and Casey both became martyrs of their causes, Hill inspiring the followers of the
IWW and Casey inspiring his own followers, causing the transformation of Tom Joad. In the
beginning, Tom Joad s focus is the survival of himself and his family. Tom returns from
penitentiary wanting to reconnect with his family while on parole. Once Tom is reunited with
his family his focus is protecting his family. Although he does not feel as lost as Casey, Tom too

birdcage and find a dead bird in a pretty box (Glaspell, 956) inside of Mrs. Wright s sewing
basket. Mrs. Hale jumps at the sight of the bird s neck and Mrs. Peters points out how somebody
wrung its neck (Glaspell, 957) similar to the way Mr. Wright was found earlier. Mrs. Wright s
murder of her husband can be seen as an act of feminine revolt against the male dominated society.
Another example of women defying against patriarchyis of Mrs. Hale and Mrs. Peters hiding the
evidence that can prove Mrs. Wright to be guilty of her husband s murder. Before their departure
from the Wright s house, as the men are returning, the sheriff suggests that the county attorney take
a look through the items Mrs. Peters had collected for Mrs. Wright. However, he decides that
anything collected by the women cannot have much significance and overlooks it. His assumption
