The Bagh Caves are a group of nine rock-cut monuments, situated among the southern slopes of the Vindhyas in Bagh town of Dhar district in Madhya Pradesh state in central India. These monuments are located at a distance of 97 km from Dhar town. The presentation was prepared for the P.G. students of AIHC and Archaeology Department in the year 2018. The site was visited by me along with my batch during Institute Of Archaeology times in the year 2009.
The Kuṣaṇas started their ruling under Kujula Kadphises in central asia and centre of power was Gandhara .
The Kuṣaṇas apparently introduced the very first anthropomorphic representations of Indian gods for their coins in Gandhara, even before an iconographical canon for these deities became standardised

On Dec/10/2012, I went to Stoney Creek High School , Rochester (MI) and gave a 45 minutes presentation to a class of sophomore / junior students about "Incredible India". This event was organized by the Assistant Director, Office of International Students and Scholars, Oakland University. Here is the presentation.
This presentation is prepared for the BA students to get basic and general information on the subject. This presentation is incomplete and students advised to get the further and proper information from subjective and recommended books and research articles.
For thousands of years, there have been different beliefs about Vishnu Avatar (incarnation). Lord Vishnu is one of the most popular deities in Hinduism; he is the preserver of the universe and is known as the Supreme God.
Vishnu is depicted as a handsome man with four arms and a conch shell. He is often depicted wearing a blue dress and holding a discus and a mace. He is also known as Narayana and is the most popular deity in the Hindu religion. Lord Vishnu is the god of creation, preservation, and destruction. He is the lord of the universe and is responsible for bringing order to the universe. He is also the god of love and mercy and is often portrayed as a compassionate figure. Lord Vishnu is often worshipped as a figure of strength and protection.
Today we will discuss in detail the different incarnations of Lord Vishnu and know the purpose behind each incarnation. Through the Puranas, we come to know about the ten incarnations of Lord Vishnu, whose list is as follows:

Astronomical Observatories of Jai Singh IIAjai Singh
Raja Jai Singh’s Observatory, Delhi. The Observatory or Jantar Mantar was constructed in1724, by Sawai Jai Singh, the Raja of Jaipur (r. 1699-1743), at the request of the Mughal Emperor Muhammad Shah (r. 1719-48). The Observatory in Delhi was the first to be built and was one of five-Jaipur, Ujjain, Varanasi and Mathura. A keen astronomer, Jai Singh tried to calculate planetary positions and alignments accurately.

Amaravati Stupa great monuments at Amaravati are all in ruins. Practically nothing is left on the site. however , a large number of slabs of white or grey limestone resembling marble that forms parts of panels, friezes, rails and pillars recovered from the old site

It resulted into the formation of the Delhi Sultanate, which was finally succeeded by the Mughal Empire, under which India once again achieved a large measure of political unity.

of the four ancient urban civilizations of Egypt,
Mesopotamia, South Asia and China. It was not
discovered until the 1920's. Most of its ruins,
even its major cities, remain to be excavated. The
ancient Indus Civilization script has not been
deciphered.
Harappa was a city in the Indus civilization that
flourished around 2600 to 1700 B.C.E. in the
western part of South Asia.

5. The Vedic Period or the Vedic Age refers to
that time period when the Vedic Sanskrit
texts were composed in India. The society
that emerged during that time is known as
the Vedic Period, or the Vedic Age,
Civilization. The Vedic Civilization flourished
between the 1500 BC and 500 BC on the
Indo-Gangetic Plains of the Indian
subcontinent. This civilization laid down the
foundation of Hinduism as well as the
associated Indian culture.

7. Siddhārtha Gautama was the historical founder
of Buddhism. He was born a warrior prince
in Lumbini, Shakya Republic, which was part of
the Kosala realm of ancient India.
Siddhartha Gautama attained enlightenment sitting
under a peepal tree, now known as the Bodhi
tree in Bodh Gaya, India. Gautama, from then on,
was known as "The Enlightened One " .
For the remaining years of his life, the Buddha is
said to have traveled in the Northeastern India and
other regions and spread his teaching.

failed in his first attempt.
In 1191 Muhammad again invaded India and
in second battle of Tarain he was finally
victorious.
This victory led to formation of first Muslim
ruled Empire in India.
14. On 8 July 1497 Vasco da Gama led a fleet of
four ships with a crew of 170 men
from Lisbon. The distance traveled in the
journey around Africa to India and back was
greater than around the equator.
The fleet arrived present day Kerala state of
India, on 20 May 1498.
This Discovery led to opening of sea trade
routes between India and Europe.

16. Babur was the founder of Mughal Empire in India.
In1526, Babur defeated the Ibrahim Shah Lodhi,
at the First Battle of Panipat and started Mughal
reign in India. Bahadur Shah 2 was the last
emperor of Mughal dynasty. He was exiled by the
British after the Indian Rebellion of 1857.
At their best time, they controlled the large part
of Indian subcontinent. From Baluchistan in the
west to Bengal in the east and from Kashmir in
the north to the Kaveri basin in the south.

British joint-stock company, which was formed to
pursue trade with the East Indies .

Charter from Queen Elizabeth I on 31 December

The company eventually came to rule large areas
of India with its own private armies, exercising

began in 1757 after the Battle of Plassey and
lasted until 1858 when, following the Indian
Rebellion of 1857

the Soviet space program, NASA, and
