Introduction to the Ultranet Overview of Ultranet Release 1 functionality for students and teachers
Vision The Ultranet is a student centered electronic learning environment that supports high quality learning and teaching, connects students, teachers and parents and enables efficient knowledge transfer.  It will establish a schools environment for the future that improves the educational outcomes of all Victorians. The Ultranet will be delivered to all Victorian government schools by the end of Term 3, 2010.

Gleneagles Ultranet Functionality Goals

  • 2. Introduction to the Ultranet Overview of Ultranet Release 1 functionality for students and teachers

Vision The Ultranet is a student centered electronic learning environment that supports high quality learning and teaching, connects students, teachers and parents and enables efficient knowledge transfer. It will establish a schools environment for the future that improves the educational outcomes of all Victorians. The Ultranet will be delivered to all Victorian government schools by the end of Term 3, 2010.

  • 11. Staff achieve Ultranet Goals for PDP Recommended minimum is: 1. Term 3 and Term 4 staff engage in professional dialogue and collaboration through theUltranet Design space 2. End of Term 1 2011, staff create and use an Ultranet Collaborative Learning space with at least one group/class

  • 13. Student Ultranet Portfolios developed, enhanced and maintained
  • 14. Learning Tasks space loaded withunit overviews and lesson plans
