Groups were assigned for an activity to generate ideas for thriller film concepts using randomly assigned suggestions for elements like character, prop, location, dialogue, and events. Students worked in their groups to develop at least three narrative ideas that incorporated the random suggestions and addressed the basic plot, characters, setup, ending, and how the suggestions were used. The best group as judged by the instructor would receive a prize for presenting their ideas to the class.

class and I will give a prize to the best group!
