This document discusses getting off of your "BUT" and living at the cause rather than the effect. It argues that making excuses ("BUT I don't have..."), giving in to fears, and feeling insecure keep people living reactively at the effect rather than proactively creating their reality from the cause. To get off the "BUT," the document recommends letting go of comfort, safety needs, and rejection fears in order to eliminate insecurities. Taking purposeful action through goal-setting rituals can help achieve better outcomes than relying solely on discipline.
