In this slide show I will
tell you about Types of
Weathering.
There are three types of
weathering Physical, Chemical &
Biological weathering.
In this type of weathering the rocks are broken
down through a physical process. It’s also
called mechanical weathering. In this
weathering although the size, shape of rocks
are changed but the chemical compositions
remains the same.
The second type of weathering is chemical
weathering . Chemical weathering refers to
the process in which rocks are broken
down through decompositions when
minerals in the rocks change chemically to
form new materials. The size, shape
changes but chemical compositions are
also changed.
The third and last type of weathering is called
Biological weathering. Biological weathering
refers to the process in which rocks are
break down through the actions of plants and
animals. They slowly break down by
decompositions. Animals and plants help to
break down rocks.
In this slide show I have
take the information
from book and pictures
from internet.
