With the advent of instant mobile messaging applications, traditional SMS is in danger of loosing it’s reign as the king of mobile messaging. Applications like WhatsApp allow mobile users to send real-time text messages to individuals or groups of friends at no cost. While there is a vast body of research on traditional text messaging practices, little is understood about how and why people have adopted and appropriated instant mobile messaging applications. The goal of this work is to provide a deeper understanding of the motives and perceptions of a popular mobile messaging application called WhatsApp and to learn more about what this service offers above and beyond traditional SMS. To this end, we present insights from two studies — an interview study and a large-scale survey — highlighting that while WhatsApp offers benefits such as cost, sense of community and immediacy, SMS is still considered a more reliable, privacy preserving technology for mobile communication

We use cell tower triangulation and SMS so that any mobile device that has been opted-in can receive the message. Thumbvista’s Location Based Messaging (SMS) and Geofencing dashboard gives an agency or even a business owner the ability to target loyal customers when they matter most, when they are near you or a competitor.
These slides use concepts from my (Jeff Funk) course entitled Biz Models for Hi-Tech Products to analyze the business model for Uber’s taxi service. Uber’s service enables anyone to provide taxi services and it provides dynamic pricing for better matching of supply and demand. Its value proposition for potential drivers is the opportunity to work as driver on their own hours. Its value proposition for user to lower taxi fares during most times of the day and a higher supply of taxis (and higher prices) during peak demand. The customers are tech-savvy and smart phone users who value their time. Uber receives payments directly from customers and keeps a percentage of these payments as its income. Uber’s patents for a demand-price algorithm represent a barrier of entry and thus a method of strategic control.

Branding
The brand strategy for Touch-Com LTD would comprise a slogan, logo, and brand extension as well as the name of the company, “Touch-Com ltd” which will be exposed to every target and potential client in the United States of America. That will enable the firm to reach a higher target audience, and in return it will attract more clients from the corporate world.
Touch-Com’s logo will have blue, white and orange colors with the blue color representing the integrity of the firm, white representing the transparency and orange representing the company’s commitment to serve its clients with outmost truth. The logo is designed in a manner that the three colors on it equally share the space of the logo, meaning that we are committed to living by our logo. While servicing clients, the principles underlying the logo will be followed to the letter in service with the clients in that the logo will be placed adjacent to the company name.
The firm operates with the “all for the best” slogan that is placed below the name and logo of the firm and will mainly be used in commercials. The slogan means that no single firm both big and small will be left out in the great wave of Touch-Com ltd and as such, no one will join thus there will be increased client base and inflows to the firm. The firm shall venture into internet security as a brand extension of the firm’s brand. The name of the extension will be Inveay Touch. The Inveay Touch system will be used in internet security that is it will protect online users from cyber-attacks and malware. The security system will be useful to corporate firm as they will be guaranteed their safety as they transact and transfer information from one server to the next.

We will raise invoice against client within 2 business days after receiving the official
order. The detailed client contact information (company name, company address,
contact person name, contact number, company VAT registration number) of the
client will be needed to raise invoice
The payment will be only by cash or check in favor of Soft Tech Innovation Ltd.
It will take maximum 3 business days to execute the advertising by us after the
payment
The execution duration may vary depending on volume
We will provide system generated report/screenshot to show the count of the sent
advertisements
We takes the consent of the subscribers before sending the advertisement, but will
not be held responsible for any action taken by the subscriber after the broadcasting.
