Jesus was fully human, experiencing hunger, fatigue, temptation, and emotions like anger, love and sadness. However, he also claimed divinity, referring to himself as the bread of life, light of the world, and son of God. He performed miracles like healing the sick and raising the dead to support his claims. After his crucifixion and death, his body went missing from his tomb, and he appeared to his disciples, providing evidence that he resurrected as he said he would. Nearly 2,000 years later, over a third of the world's population follows Jesus as their savior and lord.

2. Jesus was fully HUMAN He has a human body. He got tired (Jn. 4:6) He got hungry (Mt. 4:2)

3. He had human emotions. He got angry (Mk. 11:15-17) He felt love (Mk. 10:21) He got sad (Jn. 11:32-36)

4. He had human experiences. He was tempted (Mk 1:13) and obedient (Lk 2:51)

5. What did JESUS say about Himself ? His teaching centered on himself: “ I AM … . .” - “ the Bread of Life” (Jn. 6:35) - “ the Light of the world” (Jn. 8:12) - “ the Resurrection & the Life” (Jn. 11:25-26) - “ the Way the Truth & the Life” (Jn. 14:6)

6. Jesus affirmatively says: - “My Kingdom” (Lk. 22:30) - “Come to Me” (Mt. 11:28-29) - “Follow Me” (Mk. 1:17) - “Receive Me – Receive God” (Mt. 10:40) - “Welcome Me – Welcome God” (Mk. 9:37) - “To have seen Me is to have seen God” (Jn. 14:9)

7. What did He said He can do? To forgive our sins. (Mk. 2:5) To judge the world. (Mt. 25:31-32) Who He claims He is? Messiah/Son of Man (Mk. 14:61-64 & Dan. 7:13-14) Son of God (Mk. 14:61) God, the Son Jn. 8:58, Jn. 10:33, Jn. 20:28-29

8. What evidence is there to support what He said ? Could Jesus have been the greatest liar ever ? Or was He perhaps a madman ? What evidence do we have that He could neither be a liar or a lunatic?

9. His teaching: Sermon on the Mount (Mt. 5-7) His works: Healing, deliverance and raising of the dead (Jn. 10:37-38)

10. His character: Selflessness, humble, kind & loving His fulfilment of the Old Testament prophecy: His birthplace (Micah 5:2) His suffering at the Cross (Ps. 22) His sacrificial death for our sins (Isaiah 53)

12. His quest for Death ( Resurrection ): Evidence of Jesus’ Resurrection: His absence from the tomb (Jn. 20:8) His presence with the disciples (Lk. 24:42-43)

13. Immediate effect on disciples. Birth and growth of the Christian Church 2000 years later nearly a third of the world’s population know Jesus as… their friend , Saviour and Lord!
