This session aims to spark conversations between scholars at the intersection of strategic management and organization theory. In particular, we hope the event will generate awareness of, stimulate interest in, and set direction for research at the SM-OT interface. Especially, the panelists will address potential connections between perennial strategy topics such as resources, capabilities, innovation, competition, governance, nonmarket strategy and strategy process and practice and topics of central interest to organization theory such as institutional logics, organizational forms, legitimacy, creativity, framing and categories. Panellist will identify the most promising questions that could benefit from integrating strategy and organizational theory concepts as well as discussing possible challenges of such a theoretical bricolage.
Hosted by the Retail Design Institute, this highly visual store tour presentation features video, photos, downloadable content and a tour map, providing inspiration and motivation to make the most of your visit to NYC. James Farnell (International President, RDI & Creative Director of Little) is joined on stage by three of our Industry’s leading professionals, offering the varied perspectives of a designer, retailer & solutions provider. The session features short case studies by Nick Stowe, CEO of Nixon Watches; Chris Dieringer, IT Leader at Microsoft Retail; and Jonathan Luster, Vice President, Market and Concept Development at Lowe's Companies, Inc. Attendees will gain from insights shared on what it takes to create the successful store experiences that contribute to New York’s exciting retail landscape.

klassiska hierarkin.
10. Speltyper (Bartle)
Acting
Killers
Achievers
People
Environment
Socializers
Explorers
Interacting
saker i närheten etc.
15. Case: Shopkick
ShopKick är en smartphone-app som
registrerar hyperlokala erbjudanden med hjälp
av ultraljud. När du går in i en butik pingas du
(jfr checkas in) automatiskt, och !

19. Case: LinkedIn
Hur överkommer du en
tråkighetsfaktor som att fylla i en
profil?
Ett av de vanligaste knepen – !
en progressbar! Här är det
transparensen som styr:
genom att fylla i en nivåmätare
ser vi hela tiden hur mycket vi
gjort och har kvar. Den inre
driften att nå 100% är stark..
20. Case: Banker
Mint.com
Som Nike+ för dina pengar! !
På Mint.com samlar du alla dina
finansiella data och kan anpassa banken
efter dina behov. Bankerna ser i sin tur
ditt konsumtions-mönster och sparande.
För att ta tempen på din ekonomi
använder man poäng och s k fitness
level som man kan jämföra per månad
och år med tidigare utfall.
(SimpleBank fungerar på liknande sätt.)
SimpleBank
21. Case: SalesForce
SalesForce är ett eCRM-system med
flera olika spelmekanismer bl a tävling/
ranking, badges, poäng m m mappat
mot ett belöningssystem. Ett exempel på
case där tyngdpunkten snarare ligger på
yttre drivkrafter och inte inre motivation.
24. Summering
Experimentera!
