Leading Italian electricity producer, providing electricity with thermal power plants and hydro-
electric plants.
Position: ICT Project Manager – Reporting to IT Manager
In charge of managing projects portfolios in ICT field.
The areas in which I move are the following ones:

Main achievements:
 Support services startup: due to changed organizational needs, I have leaded the IT
operations transition towards the new full outsourcing setup. I have prepared contract
specifications and contributed to define KPIs and SLAs, in order to monitor and control
outsourcer’s performance during the whole contract lifecycle.
 Infrastructure development: due to a personnel optimization leading to IT staff unaivalability
in plants, there was the need to allow help desk operators to operate remotely with
effectiveness and efficiency. For this reason, I have completed specific projects with the goal
to minimize onsite activities. Main projects topics have covered virtualization, network
segmentation and network performance.
 IT security framework setup: after 2014 release of the Organisation, Management &
Control Model, I have prepared and had approved the new “procedure for IT security
management”. The procedure, based on “continuous improvement” concepts, describes the
set of KPIs suitable for the company to control security process, the set of periodic reports
for the management, how to execute periodic audits, and how to define and complete
remediation plans.
 Cost savings: according to the organization targets, I have contributed to reach a 23%
saving in IT budget in 2013-2016 period. The goal has been reached preparing calls for
tender in areas covered by well-established suppliers, and activating innovative services for
the company (e.g. new pre-paid mobile phones plan, printing devices rationalisation, startup
of follow-me printing mode)
