The document provides details of the lecture program for the Oxford GA Branch for the 2020/2021 academic year. Due to COVID-19, autumn term lectures will be held virtually over Zoom. The autumn term includes 4 lectures on various geography topics from September to November 2020. Plans are made to hold lectures in-person starting in January 2021 if possible, with 3 lectures at St. Edwards School and 1 lecture at Cherwell School in February. Further details on the spring 2021 program will be provided next term.

Our Lecture programme is aimed towards ALL students taking Geography Post 16 exams and Adult
GA Branch members. Some lectures may be appropriate for GCSE students.

as others have been so far)

We will let you have details of how to log into the Zoom lectures prior to the lectures. But so we can
check emails for sending out details can you confirm your email with me by emailing me on receiving

We hope Lectures will take place at St Edwards from January 2021 and One Lecture in February is
also organised to take place at Cherwell School.
The Spring 2021 Term Programme will be sent out next term. I am planning on a series of 4
lectures between January 2021 and March 2021.
● 3 of these we hope will be able to take place at St Edwards School.
● 1 lecture already confirmed will be given by Danny Dorling titled 'Finntopia' at
Cherwell School in February 2021.
The Worldwise Quiz will also be organised hopefully once safe to do so and more on this in the future
