• Antibiotics for fast breathing (proxy for pneumonia)
• Oral rehydration salts and zinc supplementation for
diarrhea
• Anti-malarials for fever (proxy for malaria, rapid
diagnostic tests in some countries)
• Screening for malnutrition
• Refer for complicated cases
• Etc.
Loss of interest, funding, etc. within global health community
