It began as Fusion Fitness Center in 2006 before transitioning to focus on race event management and production in 2015 under the name Fusion Racing. 4. History of Fusion Racing
I had been in the fitness industry for almost 20 years and was
looking for a change.
Part of our business model over the years with Fusion Fitness
was helping people and giving back to the community.
In 2006, we created an event called The Main Street Mile to
help raise money for the Newark Police K9 Fund.
Over the years, we worked with other local race directors and
were never happy with the service.

5. History of Fusion Racing
Our expertise in raising money for organizations continued
to grow; more and more organizations began reaching out
to us for advice on how to put on a successful event.
In 2015, Fusion Racing was created and managed/put on
about 10 events.
At the end of 2018, after 13 years, I decided to close Fusion
Fitness Center and focus on Fusion Racing.
This year, we will manage/put on about 100 events.
