In the field of psychology, it has been proven that music can affect the brain and
human moods. During many moments of stress during the play, A Streetcar Named
Desire , different songs intertwined with stage directions have portrayed that

The Democratization of South Korea Long before the hustle and bustle of the big
city, ages afore the creation of one of the world s largest standing militaries, the
Republic of South Korea was one of the farthest governments from a democracy.
Following the Japanese occupation of World War Two, the South Korean
government went through many different forms of authority. According to Jung
Hae Gu, professor of Social Sciences at the University of Sung Kong Hoe in Korea,
and Kim Ho Ki, professor of Sociology at Yonsie University in Korea, the Republic
of Korea has so far went through a total of 6 different regime changes since the
liberation from Japanese occupation (Hae Gu, Ho Ki). The shifts in government
occurred under various regimes, Rhee Syng Man, Park Chung Hee, Chun Doo
Hwan, and the June Uprising of 1987 (Hae Gu, Ho Ki). But the lead up to the
democratization of South Korea has a more fluid past though, one of hardship and
struggle, fluctuation between authoritarian regimes and military run governments.
The pressures that caused the governments to change play a very vital role though
too, they are the forces that shape the government and the ruling nature. The current
ruling democracy was forged by the previous governments and deserves to be
examined and discussed because they are obliviously the ones in charge right now.

Jealousy and paranoia are not the way for a happy marriage. Any man who is
suspicious of his wife and her questionably promiscuous ways are bound to have
some issues to sort out. Some men if angry enough could go to extreme depths to stop
their wives from potentially going out with another man. Much like in Robert
Brownings poem My Last Duchess, the main character in the story does just that, his
rough tone throughout this poem showcases his hatred that builds up over time for
his own wife. He gets rid of his own wife from the extreme paranoia he had that she
was with other men. Also, the message that is portrayed throughout the poem that a
relationship built on distrust and lies can never end well. During Browning s poem,

On July 22, 2015 at approximately 10:22 PM, I Deputy Bowring, was dispatched
to 650 County Road 1858 Yantis, Texas, regarding a possible structure fire. Upon

Biodiesel Synthesis Lab Report
Abstract
The purpose of this experiment was to synthesize biodiesel using a green approach
in a laboratory setting to create an environmentally safe alternative to petroleum
diesel. Sodium Hydroxide was used as a catalyst in order to complete a
transesterification reaction. The experiment took place over two days total as the
glycerol and biodiesel compounds were given time to separate fully. A separatory
funnel was used to separate the two compounds and then they were examined with
infrared spectroscopy. The glycerol showed some OH bonding participating
possibly in Hydrogen bonding at about 3400 cm^ 1. It also showed another peak at
about 2900 cm^ 1 which could indicate some carbon hydrogen bonding occurring.
The Biodiesel however looked completely different with a peak at about 1750 cm^ 1
indicating ester presence and also peaks at around 2900 and 2850 possibly showing
carbon hydrogen bonding. Results proved esterification of our compound and
separation from the fatty acid.

of the valve and fuel injector, and also the sequence of firing inside the engine
cylinders. For a 4 cylinder engine, order of firing was 1 3 2 4.For a 6 cylinder engine,
firing was 1 4 2 6 3 5. And for an 8 cylinder, v type engine, firing was 1 8 4 3 6 5 7 2.
These firing orders were not constant at all engines; it is just only based on the
trainee s experience. Firing orders were variable and based on the manufacturers
design in order to minimize vibration.
On the following days, the trainee had already worked just like a regular employee
of the Keppel. Starting on that time, he was not an assistant or a helper any longer
just like on his first day of OJT, but one of maintenance personnel on that
department. He experienced installing engine parts like flywheel, injectors, radiator,
manifolds, valves and timing gears. He also performed top hauling a six cylinder
engine, disassembling a v type engine which composed of eight cylinders, removing
water pump and making gaskets out of paper folder.
Not only engines were repaired under maintenance department, they also repair
pumps. Most common type of pump that was used on the Keppel shipyard was the
piston type pump. It consists of three cylinders and operated using high speed motor.

The government of the colony consisted of a governor and 12 council members, all
