Through these vox pop questions, we aim to understand real experiences with media pressure and create a documentary highlighting its effects, in order to help people love their own bodies and realize their uniqueness.

Teenagers face immense pressure from the media regarding their physical appearance. Media images promote an unrealistic ideal of beauty that is nearly impossible to attain. This leads teens to have poor body image, low self-esteem, and in some cases develop eating disorders or mental health issues. While some celebrities speak out about promoting self-acceptance, most media continues to focus on unrealistic standards of beauty. This pressure affects both girls and boys from a very young age.

Maisie: Maisie made sure we filmed at the right time and stopped anyone from walking past and ruining the pan shot. Aman and Gabbie: Aman and Gabbie went around college and looked for appropriate places that we could do other pans.
