Each channel, eBook seller or distributor has its own
requirements. Files need to be uploaded (validated) into other
sites. File size.
Formatting
Validation of EPUB may vary according to the distributor (one
with proprietary format). Issues with <table>, META, CSS

It reviews how MRV systems assess a NAMA’s impact on the greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and the sustainable development benefits it delivers. Developing monitoring systems that provide robust activity data is a fundamental requirement for successful MRV processes. While the Tier 1 methodological level is the starting basis of a reporting process, for significant GHG sinks and sources Tier 2 and Tier 3 methodological levels are encouraged. The slides present: 1. The concept of Nationally Appropriate Mitigation Actions (NAMAs) and how they can be developed in the agriculture and other land use sectors 2. A guide to financing, tools and stakeholder involvement 3. Links to further materials, including FAO online learning tool on NAMAs in agriculture and land use sectors. The presentation concludes that funds available for NAMAs can be used for scaling-up climate-smart agriculture practices. Developing NAMAs requires the engagement of all stakeholders. Cooperation between academia, research institutes, practitioners, policy makers and the private sector is essential.
