Four French students visited Hammersmith Academy in London and were impressed by the modern buildings and well-equipped classrooms, finding the British educational system different than in France. The cultural experience shocked the rural students. They enjoyed touring London parks and Buckingham Palace. During a treasure hunt near Parliament, the large crowds required care to follow the group and not get lost amid the impressive architecture. Two students' photos and experience will feature in their final English exam presentations.

During of the visit they were impressed by
the modern buildings, the classrooms well
equipped, they also find the British
educational system different from the
French as far as class management is
concerned.
All this was a cultural shock for students
who come from a rural area and who
study in a small vocational school.

2. Mathilda, Océane, Nicolas and Cédric enjoyed the visit of the City highlights after the school sessions.
They strolled a lot in London parks and of course Buckingham palace has been an outstanding stop.

3. During the treasure hunt around
Parliament, the place was very crowed
and we had to be very careful to follow
the group and not to get lost. They were
impressed by the architecture of the
buildings and took many photos.
For two of them this activity gave birth to
a powerpoint presentation which will be
used for their final oral exam in English.

4. They enjoyed working in class on presentations about
London Treasure Hunt and after the visit of Bank of
England where they filmed ant took photos, they
produced in group stop animation presentations based
on economy.
