2. BIO DATA
• 16 year old male with no known co-morbids came with
complain of
Left foot deformity - since birth
3. HISTORY OF PRESENTING
COMPLAIN
According to the patient his parents noticed
deformity of the left foot which was smaller as
compared to right foot after birth for which he was
operated at the age of 2.5 years.
4. PAST SURGICAL AND MEDICAL
HISTORY
• He was operated for left foot deformity at the age
of 2.5 years
• Past medical history was insignificant
5. FAMILY HISTORY
• Family history is insignificant for any congenital
deformity .
PERSONAL HISTORY
• He had normal appetite with no addiction .
• He had normal sleep .
• He had regular bowel habits.
6. HISTORY OF ALLERGY
• He has no history of allergy.
HISTORY OF TRANSFUSION
• There is no history of transfusion
SOCIO-ECONOMIC HISTORY
• He belongs to a lower middle class family and was a
factory worker by profession . Lives in a rented
house which is well ventilated .
8. PRE-OPERATIVE WORKUP
• All baseline blood test were normal
• Viral markers were negative
• General anesthesia fitness was taken for the
procedure
9. PROCEDURE PERFORMED
• TA LENTHENING + CUNEFORM AND NAVICULAR
OSTEOTOMY + TENDON TRANSFER ( TIBIALIS
POSTERIOR) 14/10/23
10. POST OPERATIVE PERIOD
• Patient remained vitally stable throughout the post
operative period and was kept on cefuroxime and
ciprofloxacin .
• Adequate pain control was provided .
• Dressing was changed next day and was discharged
without developing any post operative complication and
was called upon follow up .
