TOMATO : HEART
• When a tomato is sliced open, we observe that this red
veggie has multiple chambers that resemble the structure
of the heart.
• Tomatoes are a very nutritional food sources rich in anti-
oxidants, vitamin A and C, folic acid and beta-carotene.
• They are also rich in a substance called lycopene. Lycopene
is a bright red carotene that gives tomatoes their color.
• It has the following benefits on the heart
 Decreases levels of oxidized LDL
 Reduces inflammatory markers in our body
 Lowers both systolic and diastolic blood pressure
 Higher lycopene consumption from tomatoes lowers
the risk of stroke
• If you mix them with a little fat, like olive oil or avocado, it
will boost your body's lycopene absorption nearly tenfold.
A tomato a
day keeps
the
cardiologist
away
Tomatoes are best taken at
night time, as they
facilitate maximum body
metabolism

CELERY : BONE
3
Celery closely resembles the human bones and is
packed with some bone specific nutrients such as
• CALCIUM- Builds and strengthens bones
• Folate (B9)
• Vitamin C- acts as an antioxidant and is
essential for the formation of collagen which
binds the bone cell matrix together
• Vitamin B2 ( Riboflavin)- helps formation of
RBC’s and healthy nerves
• Vitamin B5 (Pantothenic acid)- releases energy
from food and is involved in various enzyme
reactions
• Silicon- part of the molecular structure which
gives bones their strength
• Also contains Vitamin A, Vitamin K, Manganese,
Boron, Potassium and Fibre
• Contains 3 crucial phytonutrients- Coumarin,
Apigenin and Pthalide ( lowers B.P which is
important to bone health).
WALNUT : BRAIN
4
• Walnuts are an excellent brain food.
• Packed with a high concentration of
Docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) -(a type of
Omega-3 fatty acid) and polyphenols.
• DHA -critical for brain health (infants and
adults) and boost mood and improve
cognition.
• Polyphenols-fight free radicals and cancer cells
• Vitamin E- prevents oxidative stress and
damage in the brain (Low levels of vitamin E is
linked to Alzheimer’s disease)
• Melatonin-hormone secreted by the pineal
gland that regulates sleep-wake cycle,
promoting healthy sleep (which in turn
supports healthy, alert brain function).
• Amino acid L-arginine- supports vascular
system.
• Full of high-quality protein, vitamins, minerals
and dietary fiber
CARROT:EYE
5
• A sliced Carrot looks like the human eye
• Consists of
• Beta-carotene, a type of vitamin A, which is
one of the most powerful antioxidants. It
protects the surface of the eye and
contributes to strong vision.
• Drinking carrot juice can ward off various eye
disorders, such as macular degeneration,
cataracts, and blindness.
• Carrots also contain lutein (antioxidant), that
protects the eye from damaging light.
6
• Sliced mushrooms resemble the shape of the human
ear
• Mushrooms contain protein, vitamins, minerals, and
antioxidants.
• Rich source of Vitamin D -healthy for the bones,
especially the three tiny bones in the ear (malleus,
incus and the stapes) that transmit sound to the
brain.
• Among the antioxidants mushrooms are rich in:
selenium, vitamin C and Choline.
• Mushrooms are rich in B vitamins, such as:
riboflavin, thiamine, pantothenic acid, niacin.
• Several other minerals such as potassium, copper,
iron, and phosphorus - are available in mushrooms.
GINGER:STOMACH
7
• Ginger looks like the stomach and it also aids in
digestion.
• Active components include-
• Gingerols and Shogoals-
(Zingiberene, Zingiberol, Bisapolene,
Zingerone, Gerenial and neral) -
antioxidant , anti-tumour , anti-
inflammatory,anti-analgesic, anti-
microbial and hepato-protective activity.
• Fresh ginger also contains 80.9% moisture,
2.3% protein, 0.9% fat, 1.2% minerals,
2.4% fibre and 12.3% carbohydrates.
• It stimulates digestion and absorption, relieves
constipation and flatulence by increasing
muscular activity in the digestive tract.
• It also slows down the growth rate of bowel
tumors.
WINE:BLOOD
8
• Red wine resembles human blood
• It consists of:
 Resveratrol ( antioxidant )- it reduces the
stickiness of blood platelets, helps keep
the blood vessels open and flexible, and
hence promotes a good supply of blood to
the brain. Red and white wines both
contain resveratrol, but red wine has
more. The skin of red grapes has very high
levels of resveratrol.
 Proanthocyanadins and polyphenols -
blood-thinning compounds in red wine
which reduces blood clots associated with
stroke and heart disease.
AVOCADOS:UTERUS
9
 The lightbulb shape of an avocado mirrors the uterus, and it also supports reproductive
health.
 Composition
 Folate (Good source)-reduces risk of cervical dysplasia, essential during infancy and
pregnancy ( for prevention of birth defects, such as neural tube defect and spina bifida)
 Plant sterols in avocados have an effect on hormones (estrogen and progesterone)-
responsible for regulating ovulation and menstrual cycles. They block estrogen
absorption and promote progesterone production in women.
 Vitamin K, Vitamin C, Potassium, Vitamin B5, Vitamin B6, Vitamin E
 It also contains small amounts of magnesium, manganese, copper, iron, zinc,
phosphorous and vitamins A, B1 (thiamine), B2 (riboflavin) and B3 (niacin).
CLAMS:TESTICLES
10
• Clams bear resemblance to testicles and are actually
good for the male sex organs.
• Clams are a source of nutrients including omega-3 fatty
acids, manganese, magnesium, B12, phosphorous,
potassium, copper, zinc and selenium.
• Supplementing your diet with folic acid and zinc—both
of which clams are high in––can have a significant effect
on improving semen quality in men.
• Support sexual hormones
Sweet potatoes: pancreas
11
• The oblong sweet potato bears a strong resemblance to the
pancreas, and also promotes healthy function in the organ.
• Also helps improve the pancreatic function, releasing sugars
into the body more gradually.
• Rich in beta-carotene (potent antioxidant) and other
micronutrients that protects all tissues of the body, including
the pancreas, from damage associated with cancer or aging
