Guidance System to Living

Everyone measures
success differently.


Ralph Waldo Emerson
wrote:

“To laugh often
and love much, to
appreciate beauty,
to find the best in
others, to give
one’s self...this is
to have
succeeded.”

Emerson’s quote seems to
define success as the ability
to live a life of joy.
To live as your highest self ,
and to follow your highest
path may sound like a good
definition of success, but
not everyone may agree.


Many people
measure their
success by how
wealthy they
are and how
much money
they have

Others measure success by Others may
measure their success in terms of the number
of people they have influenced over the
course of their lifetime


for others it may be
about material
acquisitions, like
buying the car, home,
or boat they have
always dreamed about


I believe success is about being my highest self
and following my highest path: living a life
filled with love for others, and receiving love
from others

Success is about giving others the benefit of my
knowledge and experience,

and living each day expecting good things to
happen.

a big part of
success is
celebrating
and being
grateful for
every
experience for
what it teaches

Consider the person who finds their joy and
satisfaction in serving others, be it as a janitor,
maid, nurse, doctor, plumber or daycare provider.
Are these people successful?


If they are living their highest path
and they find joy in what they do,
isn’t that success?


There is a place for
everyone in the
world. We are all
connected and we
all share in that
universal energy.


There is a
place for
every person
that brings
joy and
satisfaction


We can all be
grateful that there is
not a single
definition of success.
Success is whatever
we want it to look
and feel like.

We need to be open to
where our passion and
inspiration leads us and not
fear what others may think.


Focus on what
makes you feel
passionate, and
what makes you
feel good.

Listen to your
internal guidance
system and know
that you can trust
and rely on it to
keep you in
alignment and
put you on your
highest path.

It matters not if you are on the path to being a
garbage man, an artist, or a Wall Street
stockbroker, for success is in the mind of the
individual

When you are living
your highest self and
following your highest
path, you are living
successfully.
