Did you know that you can use the Law of Attraction to stay well? Positive thinking has a lot to do with it, but there are other aspects of staying well that you need to consider. Here are more of them.
Thoughts become things. The Universal Law of Attraction proves that to us every day. So, doesn't it also go to prove that if we're thinking negative thoughts, we won't necessarily have the life we want? Changing your thoughts can change your life.
Though most people believe in an afterlife, did you know that you can create your own heaven now? In this short slideshow Sharon gives you valuable tips on how to manifest the heaven you dream of now.
The Law of Attraction gives us what we want, good or bad, and when the bad comes, we don't even realize that we manifested it ourselves. Children should be taught to think positively and to find joy in their lives. When the embrace the feeling of endless possibility, they will always be in a powerful place.
Think more like your children when approaching your desires. You'll be surprised at how easily the Universe helps when you focus on what you really want, not on what you don't want.

Positive thinking: Stop negative self-talk to reduce stress
Positive thinking helps with stress management and can even improve your health. Practice overcoming negative self-talk with examples provided.
By Mayo Clinic Staff
Is your glass half-empty or half-full? How you answer this age-old question about positive thinking may reflect your outlook on life, your attitude toward yourself, and whether you're optimistic or pessimistic — and it may even affect your health.
Indeed, some studies show that personality traits such as optimism and pessimism can affect many areas of your health and well-being. The positive thinking that usually comes with optimism is a key part of effective stress management. And effective stress management is associated with many health benefits. If you tend to be pessimistic, don't despair — you can learn positive thinking skills.
Understanding positive thinking and self-talk
Positive thinking doesn't mean that you ignore life's less pleasant situations. Positive thinking just means that you approach unpleasantness in a more positive and productive way. You think the best is going to happen, not the worst.
Positive thinking often starts with self-talk. Self-talk is the endless stream of unspoken thoughts that run through your head. These automatic thoughts can be positive or negative. Some of your self-talk comes from logic and reason. Other self-talk may arise from misconceptions that you create because of lack of information or expectations due to preconceived ideas of what may happen.
If the thoughts that run through your head are mostly negative, your outlook on life is more likely pessimistic. If your thoughts are mostly positive, you're likely an optimist — someone who practices positive thinking.
The health benefits of positive thinking
Researchers continue to explore the effects of positive thinking and optimism on health. Health benefits that positive thinking may provide include:
Increased life span
Lower rates of depression
Lower levels of distress and pain
Greater resistance to illnesses
Better psychological and physical well-being
Better cardiovascular health and reduced risk of death from cardiovascular disease and stroke
Reduced risk of death from cancer
Reduced risk of death from respiratory conditions
Reduced risk of death from infections
Better coping skills during hardships and times of stress
It's unclear why people who engage in positive thinking experience these health benefits. One theory is that having a positive outlook enables you to cope better with stressful situations, which reduces the harmful health effects of stress on your body.
It's also thought that positive and optimistic people tend to live healthier lifestyles — they get more physical activity, follow a healthier diet, and don't smoke or drink alcohol in excess.

It is important for our children to learn how to navigate their own choices and decisions. Leading by example is one of the best ways to teach our kids about their Internal Guidance System. Here are some more of my tips on how to teach your teens and kids about who they are as an individual.
We cannot make choices for our children, but we can inspire them by living with our best self present as much as possible. Give your kids the tools, and with practice, they will learn to trust their own intuition.
Parents can only inspire their children, or anyone for that matter, when they’re happy first. Parents can’t force children to be happy, they must show them how to be happy. Setting a good example when they are young sets them up for better choices when they are older. By letting your teen make decisions on how they live and in their environment and surroundings, you help prepare them for life’s bigger choices and decisions by tapping into how they feel. You also help set up a life-long habit of following through on their responsibilities. Just remember It starts with you first.
Much of our children’s lives revolve around a strict schedule. When to be at school, when to be at soccer practice, when to have homework done. It can be hard, even as adults, to know what the best decision is to make. Teach your kids to sit with each option and feel what it feels like to decide on each choice they face. Our kids will learn through their own life experiences. We can tell them something over and over, but experience will always be the greatest teacher.
If you’re a parent with one or more children, then you know first-hand that raising kids is not for the faint of heart! The day-to-day issues you face can range anywhere from whom your child chooses as friends, what they do or don’t like eating, and even whether or not they’ll clean their room. Then there are the tougher issues of tantrums, drama and even bullies at school. It’s very easy to feel overwhelmed when raising young children. I help parents achieve happiness in through these trying times of parenting.
As a parenting coach, I have advised many mothers and fathers on the importance of intention. One of the exercises I take parents through-- is explaining how to be more intentional with their own lives FIRST, through positive intention. Once parents are able to recognize and direct their own intentions, they can teach their children how to manifest their desires by thinking in a more positive way. This helps in deliberately creating their lives.
Are you looking for support with your children, wanting a happier and more easeful relationship with them? Being an inspiration and guiding our kids is one of the most significant tasks we may have in our life! My parenting tips and advice in this Slideshare can help you have the relationship you desire with your children.
We lived in a hard scheduled culture. Kids have to go to school, have time for sports and other interests while maintaining a healthy balance. Here are some tips for helping your kids do just that.
In our high-tech world of Pokemon Go and other electronic distractions, we all tend to ignore the little things that make us happy. Teaching your kids to recognize these things is a good practice!
When you expect the best from your children, without a heavy hand, but by allowing them to find their inner barometer, your child will become more confident, secure, and productive.
The Internal Guidance System is the most powerful tool we have. Though disappointment will always rear its head, our IGS can help our children to create successful, happy lives.
Disappointments come whether you're young or old. Teaching children to deal with disappointments can be helped by teaching them to use their Internal Guidance system. They will always know what is important and what is not.
The Universal Law of Attraction is very powerful, and available to every person on the planet. Here are some reasons why you should be paying attention.
Using the Law of Attraciton, allow your Internal Guidance System (IGS) to guide you in the right direction. Pay close attention to achieve your magical life.
The Law of Attraction works best when we use our internal guidance system (IGS) to choose our path in life. It's something everyone has access to, and it never fails.

Title: Sense of Smell
Presenter: Dr. Faiza, Assistant Professor of Physiology
Qualifications:
MBBS (Best Graduate, AIMC Lahore)
FCPS Physiology
ICMT, CHPE, DHPE (STMU)
MPH (GC University, Faisalabad)
MBA (Virtual University of Pakistan)
Learning Objectives:
Describe the primary categories of smells and the concept of odor blindness.
Explain the structure and location of the olfactory membrane and mucosa, including the types and roles of cells involved in olfaction.
Describe the pathway and mechanisms of olfactory signal transmission from the olfactory receptors to the brain.
Illustrate the biochemical cascade triggered by odorant binding to olfactory receptors, including the role of G-proteins and second messengers in generating an action potential.
Identify different types of olfactory disorders such as anosmia, hyposmia, hyperosmia, and dysosmia, including their potential causes.
Key Topics:
Olfactory Genes:
3% of the human genome accounts for olfactory genes.
400 genes for odorant receptors.
Olfactory Membrane:
Located in the superior part of the nasal cavity.
Medially: Folds downward along the superior septum.
Laterally: Folds over the superior turbinate and upper surface of the middle turbinate.
Total surface area: 5-10 square centimeters.
Olfactory Mucosa:
Olfactory Cells: Bipolar nerve cells derived from the CNS (100 million), with 4-25 olfactory cilia per cell.
Sustentacular Cells: Produce mucus and maintain ionic and molecular environment.
Basal Cells: Replace worn-out olfactory cells with an average lifespan of 1-2 months.
Bowman’s Gland: Secretes mucus.
Stimulation of Olfactory Cells:
Odorant dissolves in mucus and attaches to receptors on olfactory cilia.
Involves a cascade effect through G-proteins and second messengers, leading to depolarization and action potential generation in the olfactory nerve.
Quality of a Good Odorant:
Small (3-20 Carbon atoms), volatile, water-soluble, and lipid-soluble.
Facilitated by odorant-binding proteins in mucus.
Membrane Potential and Action Potential:
Resting membrane potential: -55mV.
Action potential frequency in the olfactory nerve increases with odorant strength.
Adaptation Towards the Sense of Smell:
Rapid adaptation within the first second, with further slow adaptation.
Psychological adaptation greater than receptor adaptation, involving feedback inhibition from the central nervous system.
Primary Sensations of Smell:
Camphoraceous, Musky, Floral, Pepperminty, Ethereal, Pungent, Putrid.
Odor Detection Threshold:
Examples: Hydrogen sulfide (0.0005 ppm), Methyl-mercaptan (0.002 ppm).
Some toxic substances are odorless at lethal concentrations.
Characteristics of Smell:
Odor blindness for single substances due to lack of appropriate receptor protein.
Behavioral and emotional influences of smell.
Transmission of Olfactory Signals:
From olfactory cells to glomeruli in the olfactory bulb, involving lateral inhibition.
Primitive, less old, and new olfactory systems with different path
