What is Semiotics, Semiology and Difference? In this paper I will define the Semiotics, Semiology
and Difference then I will give the views and beliefs of the three of the masterminds behind these
terms.
Firstly, Semiology and Semiotics are two related disciplines, which study semiotics, the relation of
significance involving signs, object and mind, and classification of signs. Semiotics is a synonym for
Semiology. Semiotics is defined as the study of signs and symbols and their interpretation, while
Semiology is semiotics, the study of signs. According to Swiss Linguist and Semiotician Ferdinand de
Saussure semiotics is the science of signs. Saussure in Course in General Linguistics, said the roles of

The Grand Budapest Hotel revolves around Europe of the 1930s and 1960s while it was in time of the
war, through the adventures of The Grand Budapest Hotel s doorman Zero and the Hotel manager
Gustave. The saga is linked to a burglar and a Renaissance painting, a great family s wealth war, and
the sudden change of war in Europe. It reflects the vicissitudes of political history in Europe for half a
century. This article will analyze The Grand Budapest Hotel from two aspects: artistic style and film
theme.
I. Artistic style
The Grand Budapest Hotel is the work of American director Wes Anderson. His works have a strong
personal style: bright colour, the full symmetry of the composition, a straight frame, a deliberately
orderly stance, unique visual style and narrative mode. In his film, a sense of humour is often through
Deadpan expression: actors often deadpan and no body movements, but in the restraint and slight
change, as well as in the pause between the odd cold humour. The hues, props and sets of his films are

Applying Critical Thinking And Reading Skills
Taking this class has taught me a lot about myself as a learner. At the beginning of this course I
defined learning as how one takes in information in their surroundings and applies it to their life.
While I do still believe that is a part of the learning process, I now know how to properly use my
strong suits and weaknesses to get the best results from the information presented to me. With the
information I have acquired throughout this course, I would also include applying critical thinking and
reading skills to better decipher the information gained to my definition of learning. Knowing how to
interpret the information given to you is a huge part of learning. I am a strong willed learner, I am able
use all of my patterns on a use first basis with the exception of confluence. My LCI score for
confluence is 20 which means I use it at an as needed level, while I prefer not to use it often I am able
to use it effectively. I mainly use this pattern when I am working with customers and patients and do
not want to come across as robotic and only giving the standard verbatim for their concerns. Technical
reasoning is another pattern that is on the lower end of my LCI scores, I received a 26 for this pattern.
There are times that I do enjoy learning how to do things on my own as in opposed to waiting for
exact instructions. While working in my patient s homes, I sometimes like to figure out how to set up
