instructional approach to provide appropriate
resources for students at home in order to
capitalize on critical thinking opportunities only
available within the social construct of the
classroom.

A flipped classroom is
inherently better than a
 traditional classroom.
Flipping your
classroom will make
 you a better teacher.
My videos need to be
professional and perfect
        when launched.
I can just record my
lecture and put it online
  for students to watch.
Video lessons are the

       new material.

  What is a lesson that you teach that just
   CANNOT be substituted by a video? Why?

   that students can do independently to be more
   successful during the lesson?
If I flip my classroom,

Flipping the Classroom Presentation Slides

  • 7. One of Many Definitions… Flipping the Classroom: (v) changing the instructional approach to provide appropriate resources for students at home in order to capitalize on critical thinking opportunities only available within the social construct of the classroom. 
  • 9. A flipped classroom is inherently better than a traditional classroom.
  • 10. Flipping your classroom will make you a better teacher.
  • 11. My videos need to be professional and perfect when launched.

  • 14. Brainstorming: Think/Pair/Share:   What is a lesson that you teach that just CANNOT be substituted by a video? Why?   In preparation for that lesson, is there something that students can do independently to be more successful during the lesson?
