Saul Carliner is a Professor and Director of Graduate Programs in Educational Technology at Concordia University in Montreal. He is also the author of over 200 publications, including the upcoming book, An Overview of Training and Development: Why Training Matters, the best-selling Training Design Basics and the award-winning Informal Learning Basics. He is a Fellow and past board member of of the Institute for Performance and Learning and a Fellow and past international president of the Society for Technical Communication.
