This document discusses flipping the classroom approach for EndNote instruction. The author began offering in-person EndNote workshops but found not everyone could attend. To make the content accessible asynchronously, the author created streaming tutorial videos using Screencastify. The tutorials were published on YouTube and embedded in a LibGuides page. This allowed instruction to reach more students beyond just the in-person workshops. The tutorials have been popular with an average of 34 views per month. The author plans to update the tutorials using new software to improve on limitations of the original tool. Providing the content online supplements and expands beyond the traditional in-person classroom model of instruction.
