• Virtualization of automation architecture for DC Medium Voltage research
grid at 5kV, in RWTH Campus.
• The measurements from field devices, transducers and converter
controllers, are collected with IEDs.
• The FISMEP cloud platform deploys monitoring and management of the
network.
• Data are mapped according to NGSI-LD information model and SAREF
Ontology.

Field Test in Germany: Service Restoration Algorithm

Restoration
• The service restoration is applied in case of electrical faults on
distribution grids: it determines the switching operations to restore
the de-energized loads.
• This algorithm is implemented as a service in the FISMEP platform,
working as a web application.
• The grid data are provided to Context Broker; in case of fault, the
service restoration is activated, computes the solution and posts the
switching operation.
