This document provides a literature review and evaluation of various fire flow methodologies to determine the appropriate method for calculating required fire flows at the University of British Columbia Point Grey Campus. It summarizes 12 existing fire flow calculation methods from Canada, the US and UK. It then assesses 7 of these methods in more detail and evaluates their suitability. The document concludes with recommendations for adopting the most suitable methodology and applying it to re-calculate required fire flows for buildings and parkades on campus.
