Managing the business unit (BU) on a strategic and operational level together with the
Business Unit Manager; mentoring and managing 2 financial analysts and participating in the
performance reviews of the 17 employees within the BU
Leading the annual budget development and review process; reporting performance against
set budget on monthly and quarterly basis
Developing business cases that incorporate financial models for forecasting revenues,
COGS, SG&A, and FCF – assess medium to long term business value and include sensitivity
analyses to assess for risk
Championing the bid approval process, representing the BU in presentations to senior
management
Increasing revenue significantly through effective commercial negotiations and active
relationship management with strategic customers, as well as revamping go-to-market
strategy
