This document summarizes a student project called the Smart LMS that aims to address issues students face in staying updated with course announcements and task deadlines. The project uses notification technologies inspired by social media platforms to instantly notify students of any updates made by teachers to the online course portal. The project is intended to ensure students do not miss any important updates by providing notifications at the time an update is made, similar to how social media users are notified of updates from pages and groups they follow.

 Students reporting problem of not being aware of any
updates timely.
 Students fail to complete task on time.
 Social media websites like Facebook ,Twitter.
 Social media sites keep their subscribers updated every
second.
 Idea implemented first time for Education institutions.
We have been facing the issues of remaining
updated with the teachers, while we have enrolled in
their courses. Teachers been assigning tasks to
students by using their online accounts which do not
ensure any connectivity between students and
teachers. We have brought this problem to an end
where we had taken this assurety to next level.
Anything updated by teachers will be notified to
students at the time it’s updated. So any of them
won’t miss any update.

Abstract:
We have been using many different social media websites, where users stays updated
with everything they are subscribed too. Users likes pages, follow groups and add
dozens of people around the world related to their targeted market and interests.
Users can follow the option to chose either they want to get notified from different pages
or groups when they are updated or either they can chose the option to not to get
notified.
We have taken this practice under-consideration and implemented it in our own project.
Different Educational Websites are providing the online portal to their students where
teachers keep on updating the details & content and students are supposed to stay
updated with all those announcements. For this purpose we are using the get notified
practice to notify all the students enrolled in such courses or websites.
