2. The font for my title I got form the
website ‘Da font’ I went it to be edgy,
bold and black so it would stand out.
The Colours I used were
yellow, black, white and red I got the
inspiration from Kerrang a successful
magazine. My main image is a medium
shot, I used this so my audience can see
her outfit because it fits in with my
genre. I used low key lighting on my
model to create a shadow effect behind
her, to connote that she has a dark past.
The secondary images are all of my
model looking up at me, this makes her
look inferior, I used this because I want
to show the audience how low she was
and on my double page spread there is
a close up image showing happiness, I
want the audience to see how time has
changed. All the lighting is high key to
make her look like the centre of
attention as she is my main focus of my
magazine.
3. The colour scheme is kept the same
to create a brand identity. As was
the font, it was the same colour and
size as it was on my front page. I
used another medium shot to show
my models outfit. However the
lighting was more high key to stop
shadows form happening. The most
dominant colour on this page is
yellow and black, yellow is used to
make my contents stand out but
also to make my audience feel
happy and the black is used to give
off a mysterious effect. The
secondary images are a mixture of
medium and long shots, to show my
models outfits and props which
again fit in with my genre.
4. Again the same font is used. My body of text is in bold font to make it stand out so it is readable, it is in columns to make
it easier on the eye and easier to read. My introduction is bigger than my body of text so it is the first thing my audience
read. I added a pull quote to entice more readers. The main image is a medium shot so the audience focus on her music
book and earphones to connote that music is her life. One secondary image is a close up to show happiness of my model.
It has high key lighting to show everything in her life isn’t dark. The other two images are medium shots with low key
lighting to create shadows, to show off her ‘rock’ outfit. The captions are used to explain what the images are.
