Double page spread.

This is a double page spread for Lily Allen again she used a font connoted with
tabloids, half of the page is taken up with a picture of Lily herself so if people
went through the magazine quickly they would be able to quickly recognise
that is a story line about her.

They decided to use a quote from Lily as the main heading for the double page
spread, this could be to make readers wonder what she means and strike
interest with them and make them read more.

They use the idea of different colours to mark out important parts of the
double page spread for the readers (they put Lily Allen’s name in red)

The main headline talks about her being attention seeker but in the double
page spread she dresses very subtly instead of provocatively maybe to
emphasis the point that she is trying not to be a attention seeker.

It seems the article is not too formal and more of a casual feel to it maybe to
make readers feel more as there with Lily and talking to her.
This double page spread is different as the artist is using more of a patriotic
idea for hers, obviously this will appeal to her American fan base a lot as it is
showing her love for the country. For other people it could be eye catching as
they would want to find out what the USA themed interview could be about.

The artists is dressed slightly provocatively by the dress she is wearing (short
skirt and pointy cones) it also doesn’t follow the house colours of the magazine
but has its own.
This double page spread focuses more on the article itself the pictures used are
not taking up the whole page and have been used to show maybe a mini
dance? The other thing this article uses is the idea of using different colours to
make certain words stand out and catch the reader’s eye.

This one shows Jamelia looking fragile, but also dressing provocatively. They do
use the white sheets behind her as an idea of innocence. The writing goes
around her picture to maybe show that she is the centre of the double page
spread. The spread again goes against the house colours of the magazine and
also they use the separate colours to show between questions and answers.
