• Lions have camouflaged fur so they can
easily sneak up on prey in the savanna
• Lions also have their sharp teeth which
allows them to eat their prey’s meat
• Lions use roaring as communication and to
warn other lions when they get close to
another lion’s territory

• Lions are at the top of the savanna food
web
• A food chain the lion is in consists of red
oat grass, topi, gazelle, lion, in that specific
order
• A symbiosis the lion is in is where the lion
kills and eats an animal, and the hyenas
get the leftovers
