Film trailers are advertisements that provide selected shots and scenes from an upcoming movie in an abbreviated form to attract audiences to the film without revealing major spoilers. They are released in cinemas, online, and social media usually a month before the film's release to give audiences a sense of what to expect from the movie and promote hype for its release. The goal of trailers is to both inform potential viewers about a movie's content and encourage them to watch the upcoming film.
