General Purpose: 	
  
	
  
Essential2Life is seeking a Program Director (PD) to oversee and direct a
structured three-year leadership development program, the FIFTEEN leadership
program. The PD will work with program replication team developing systems
and best practices. In addition, we expect the PD to help establish a Program
Advisory Board; A Program Advisory Board is a group of individuals who will
help garner community support for the program, while providing guidance and
assistance in building financial and human capital. 	
  
	
  
The PD should be efficient in building relationships in the community from the
education field, as well as influencers from the private and public sector. We are
seeking an individual who is competent in establishing and managing
fundraising and financial goals. 	
  
	
  
The PD will build a leadership and facilitation team for FIFTEEN Program(s), as
well as oversee program quality control and program implementation.

● Recruiting and hiring volunteers and staff	
  
● Staff and team development	
  
● Fundraising	
  
● Budgeting	
  
● Assume leadership role in key operations and programmatic functions	
  
● Lead implementation of process improvement, principles and best
practices	
  
● Gain in-depth exposure to and understanding of the organization	
  
● Explore particular issues of importance to the program	
  
● Participate as director of leadership and facilitation teams	
  
● Teach and communicate program lesson and weekly objectives	
  
● Identify, recommend, and implement appropriate recommendations and
improvements	
  
● Determine key program measurements around assigned objectives	
  
● Pro-actively develop and cultivate a strong network of resources and
contacts, both internally and externally	
  
● Build a culture of execution competence including relationships, values,
streamlined decision-making, and a drive toward results and individual
and team contributions	
  
● Perform other duties as required to achieve organization and program
objectives	
  
	
  
Desired Skills and Experience	
  
	
  
Minimum Requirements:	
  
	
  
● Four Year Bachelors degree	
  
● Five to seven years experience supervising and leading people preferably
in an business or high performing organization	
  
● Ability to establish strategic direction and lead the development and
implementation of objectives, plans, and initiatives designed to achieve
that direction	
  
● Ability to successfully initiate and lead/drive significant change initiatives
in an educational non-profit environment through an in depth
understanding and successful application of principles in execution	
  
● Establish understanding of business principles and program with the
ability to add value through successful organizational management	
  
● Strong analytical, communication, writing, and presentation skills - a
second language of Spanish is beneficial	
  
● Highly adept at leading through influence, setting direction and delivering
results	
  
● Comfortable working in a visionary and entrepreneurial environment	
  
● Ability to effectively use office automation, communication, software and
tools used in the office environment	
  
● Strong in personal and organizational leadership
