This document discusses how the Fibonacci sequence is related to the Feigenbaum scaling of period doubling cascades to chaos. It finds that the number of branches at each period of the cascade follows the Fibonacci sequence when normalized by the Feigenbaum constant alpha. As the period doubling cascade progresses to higher periods, the ratio of branch widths converges to the golden mean, linking the most irrational number to the onset of deterministic chaos.
