Festival Discussion 15/09/10<br />Name: Media Madness<br />??<br />Theme of media – section of dance, drama, music, art crafts, face painting, bouncy castle, roller skating in the green area of the playground, roller disco, dance and drama performances – need to audition before hand to check content etc – have posters to advertise these.<br />Refreshments – some of us to bring in food, make food, ice cream van<br />Art – face painting, doing hair, nail painting<br />Ms Thomas – cards, could sell<br />Banners, posters, powerpoint in assemblies, give out flyers after school<br />Workshops – dining hall – food from different countries, serve at stalls<br />Nail painting and henna<br />Dancing, music from different cultures – could do workshops getting people to teach others to dance to different music, perform at end<br />Dance groups performing<br />Trampolining<br />Mixed Media Festival – ideas to show case things from different parts of school<br />How will you manage activities – what help will you need<br />Prize games – shoot the hoop etc<br />Display artwork – a submission <br />Jump – 6th formers did it in TV studio – ask Mr McIntosh - £1 per photo<br />Demonstration of baking<br />Cultural food<br />Artist to do portraits – teach us or draw people<br />Performance – teacher v student face off<br />Wii board – competition<br />Stereo systems for music<br />DST – groups performing drama, dance etc<br />Henna designs – Tangina – people to pay – 50p for hand, £1 for whole arm<br />Slogan<br />Hanna artists<br />Face painters<br />Ask a lot of people<br />Posters <br />Banners outside school<br />
