Cumulative yearly home sales in the county are down 0.6% compared to 2017, though February sales were up 3.6%. Inventory in the first two months of 2018 was significantly lower than 2017 but similar to 2016 levels. Over 46% of single family home listings were under contract by the end of February. New listings so far in 2018 have been in line with or above previous years, while properties going under contract each week dipped slightly in recent weeks after higher early year activity. Cumulative sales for the first 9 weeks of 2018 were up 17.45% versus 2017 partly due to a large number of sales in the first week.
