From the above results...
• Fast food is very popular among teenagers
due to them being both tasty and convenient.
• They know that fast foods have a negative
impact on their health, but still choose to
consume fast foods at least once a month.
Healthy consumption of Fast Food
• Keep portion sizes small.
• GO GREEN-order a side salad with your
sandwich instead of fries.
• Eat fruits and vegetables, in which they are
rich in potassium and may help decrease
blood pressure.
• Choose foods with less amount of salts.
Conclusion
• We have proven that fast food chains do offer
healthy choices on their menus, though some are
unhealthy (eg. Fries), and the choice lies in the
hand of consumers, that’s why we have to choose
wisely and our reasons are as follow:
1. In recent years, fast food restaurants are
increasingly more inclined to the healthier side.
Examples are the introduction of apple
dippers, more vegetables in McDonalds and corn
cup.
• 2. However, unhealthy choices such as fries
and soft drinks are still present. Knowing
these foods pose a threat to our health, we
should avoid extreme usage.
