GARMENT TECHNOLOGY
After doing a study of how people accepted fashion in the past
and how fashion evolved. I study about the Garment
Technology because for creating any design collections just
ideas will not be sufficient I will have to pay attention to the
various other points like the garment costing, Pattern cuttings,
trimmings, fusing, pressing and quality check of the garments.
In this regard I had an in depth study of the same in the subject
garment technology before developing a collection we created
a project on this which can be seen on this which can be seen
on the following link.

which designer have worked upon such a wonderful creations
After study timeline the I have learned that how the designer have worked upon such a wonderful
creations and in today’s eras how the timeline will helped out to make the new creations. As I was
inspired by the Egyptian era in which cape was the most elegant garment on that timeline. Cape was
the garment who liberate the woman and show them how she is a independent woman.
Some of the designer’s who worked upon the cape :
The cape dress & Mennonite women
In the 19th beginning of the 20th cent. The cape dress was worn by women from conservative
Mennonite communities. The cape dress had a plain style & a piece of fabric had a square or U-
shape form & de- emphasized the female form. The women of the Holdeman Mennonite community
in California wore a cape dress covered the shoulders and bust.
